Welcome back to the Swpocketmodels.com preview for Scum and Villainy. We've got a handful of cards that you'll be able to pickup in the coming weeks. Without further ado, here are 4 of the new cards from Scum and Villainy.
At first glance, this appears to be yet another version of the usual faction specific +1 attack to all units objective. But, upon closer inspection it actually gives +1 on both combat actions and strikes! Not too shabby.
Here Goes Nothing
This is a rather risky card that could really pay off on your higher shield units. It'll take some guts to actually use it, but this is the type of card that can turn a defeat into a victory.
This card appears to be quite powerful. By allowing you to discard both Ruthless icon cards and objectives, your units could very well end up with +4 attack and 3 damage total from using this card. That's one heck of a card!
Now we come to the most interesting card in the preview. This is our first example of the new forward objectives. According to the card text foward objectives are played as follows:
This card may be played into the contested zone, if it is it replaces any other friendly forward objective and grants not reserves when destroyed.
This particular card could be brutal on those swarm teams that often rely on 1 health units. The only ships that will be willing to run right through your blockade are those using the armor power match icon.
Well, that's it for our previews of Scum and Villainy. Make sure to get your piece of the set come May 28th!
